Introducing our board member, Mitchell Shields!

Mitchell can usually always be found front row at a concert (just like he is in this photo with his family captured at our free concert last summer). He is a lover of music and has played guitar since he was 12. Since then he has attended over 300 concerts—so it is no surprise the Kingsville Folk Music Festival was one of the draws for him to move to Kingsville. He is equally passionate about bringing live music to our town. Thank you for all of your work, Mitchell!

Fun Fact:

Word has it Mitchell is currently jamming "Dancing Days" by Ron Pope and "No Rest For the Wicked" by Cage the Elephant.

We are so excited to have Billy Raffoul take over our Instagram next week to close out a month of awesome takeovers!

About the artist:

A soulful rock singer/songwriter from Leamington, Ontario and son of respected regional solo artist Jody Raffoul, Billy was schooled in music from a young age. His first album International Hotel, which was released mid-2020, was essentially recorded live with just a pair of microphones, an acoustic guitar, and harmonica. His music now streams to millions.
